Appearance of Bias? Didn’t Even Occur to Judge Lee P. Rudofsky

Those of you who are following along know about my lawsuit against debt buyer Portfolio Recovery Associates, LLC. But did you know PRA bought the alleged debt from Capital One?

You also know the presiding judge whose orders are on appeal was Lee P. Rudofsky. But did you know Lee was assistant general counsel for Corporate Affairs & Government Relations at Walmart prior to his lifelong appointment to the bench?

If you read the post about Loretta Burks v. PRA, you know that Walmart is in the credit card business with GE Capital and their non-performing accounts, including the one with Loretta Burks’ name on it, get bought by PRA.

Today I did a Dogpile search to see if Walmart has its own credit card portfolios. I never got to that answer. The first response to the search stopped me in my mental tracks. I had to share it with you.

Walmart. Capital One. Portfolio Recovery. Judge Lee P. Rudofsky. Laura Lynn Hammett.

One of these things is not like the others; One of these things just doesn’t belong; Can you tell which one is not liked by the others; By the time I finish my song?

If you guessed Lee Rudofsky, then you got it wrong.

About LauraLynnHammett

Regular people like you and I should have access to justice, even if we can't afford an attorney. Judges must stop their cronyism. Attorneys who use abusive tactics against pro se litigants should be disbarred. This site discusses some of the abuses by our legal professionals. It also gives media attention to cases that are fought and sometimes won by the self represented.
